In 2015, I was asked by the Digital Recruitment Company to participate in an interview series on women in leadership in the digital marketing industry.
From DRC, on why they are doing the series:
"In 1985, 35% of people in computer science courses at university level were women. In 2015, this figure has dropped to 17%. We wondered, did stereotypes affect the population of women in the digital sector? Initiatives fed down from the likes of Google, Facebook and LinkedIn are once again looking to boost the number of women in the industry though various internal training regimes. We want to share the stories of women who have earned a leadership position in the industry, sharing advice and views on hot topics, as a part of our on-going effort to boost the population and representation of women in the digital industry in the UK."
